金曜日の午後のレッスンで、英語の授業も最後です。来週行う実習先での部分実習で使う英語を、シェリーに見てもらっていました。このペアーは紙芝居をしているところですが、まだまだ発音がはっきりしない単語があって、この週末特訓が必要ですね！
Students had the last English lesson this afternoon. Sherrie proofread their English they will have to use in the elementary and preschool schools next week when they present their projects. This group is showing Kamishibai, or Paper theater. They need to practice reading it a lot over the weekend!

このペアーは「ぶんぶんゴマ」の最後を作り、回して遊びぶ方法を教えるようです。シェリーは、去年もこれをやっている学生がいたので、子どもたちにとっては少し難しいけれど何度もやっているとうまくできるようになるので、続けて回すようにと声をかけるといいことを助言してくれました。
This group tried to make a spinning top (= koma in Japanese). It may be a little hard for children to spin it, but they can keep trying and get it done finally, Sherrie commented.

こちらの学生たちは、紙コップと紙のボールで出来た「けん玉」をやるようですが、その前に本物のけん玉を見せて導入するようです。
These students are showing now how to play real Kenndama (= cup-and-ball game) before they show simple kendama made out of a paper cup and a paper ball.

これで第一週目が終わり、実習前の準備はすべて完了しました（したはずですよね？）。アレルギーで体調を崩している学生がいますが、今は何とかいい方向には向かっているようです。忙しかった今週も終わり、最初の週末をゆっくりと家族と楽しみましょう。
They’ve done all for the first week now, and they are ready to go to schools for their internship. Some students are allergic for pets or house dust (maybe?), but fortunately getting well. Others are just doing well. I hope they’ll have a wonderful weekend with their family!
