■ Cabrillo College（アメリカ カリフォルニア州 サンタクルーズ） で、3/16〜4/1までの海外短期フィールドワークです。

学生たちは最後の日をホストファミリー先で過ごしています。いつもパーティーをやっているホストファミリー先のFrancesが、KenとJinsuと教員をディナーに招待してくれました。彼女の家の大きなキッチでみんなで料理を作っておいしく食べました。
The students spent a last day with their families. Frances invited Ken’s family and me for dinner. We cooked together in her huge kitchen and had a delicious dinner. The students from two families were there, enjoyed dinner, and thoroughly cleaned dishes and cutlery after dinner.

女子会みたいですね。ジンスさんからアメリカでの子育ての特徴を聞いたり、自分で考え常に周りで起こっていることに疑問を持つことなどについて話し合いました。こういう話が英語でもできるようになるといいのですが。
Welcome to the girls only club! They enjoyed talking about many things with Jinsu from child rearing in the US to awareness of the world around you. I wish they could have a discussion like this in English as well!
