The students spent this weekend with their host families. On Sunday two families happened to meet in Kawagoe, a city including a preservation district for historic buildings from the Edo Period (1603-1867). It was a hot day but they had a great time. Candice in Yukata (a casual summer kimono) looks cute!  The yukata looks cool and breezy, but is it?

週末はそれぞれの家族と一緒にすごしました。しかし、日曜日にはばったり川越で両家族が会ったようです。その時の写真をキャンディスのホストマザーが送ってくれました。この日はとても暑かったのですが、キャンディスは妹さんとおそろいのゆかたでとても素敵です。ゆかたは涼しげに見えますが、どうだったのでしょうか。
